Museum Development
Students should have completed and submitted their final Epitome posters. We have turned our attention to museum development. Our focus is Robots and Robotics. Specific Topics by Team Tobyn and Laura = Drones Lucy, Laura, and Conner = Security Robots Lincoln and Mekhi = How Robots Work Matt and Nina = Fictional Robots Brayden and Chip = Food Robots Jacob = Self Driving Cars JP = Rescue Robots Sam and Clara = Robot of Today and Tomorrow Bohao, Rustam, and Fletcher = Military Robots Simon and Ryan = Artificial Intelligence Rachael and Macy = Childcare and Healthcare Hilde and Laura = Farming Terefech = Household Robots We are currently examining what makes for a good exhibit. Programming Pepper Students have selected a task that they will try to program Pepper to do. Task List Jason, Brayden, and Nina = pull out a chair Simon, Rusty, Bohao, and Fletcher = get attendance forms Chip = hang up coat Lucy, Hilde, Higgs, and Laura = delivering a message to a classroom Mekhi, Lincoln, Rachael, and Macy = deliver recess options to a classroom Conner, JP, and Jacob = set up dodgeball rope Matt = deliver recess options to classroom Tobyn = pick up pencil Terefech = open door The first step in the process of programming Pepper is developing a flowchart of what you need to program. We have been discussing flowcharts and learning to use a computer-based flowcharting program.
