Other News

• We passed out computers this morning. Students will not be permitted to take them home for a few weeks.  
• We introduced and began reading Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry. If you would like to read along with the class, you can access the story here. We tend to read one chapter as a group and then the next chapter is assigned as individual reading. There will also be writing assignments that will accompany our reading. Stay tuned for more. 
• In the near future, we will begin the bridge project. Students will build and test bridges made of pasta. We will also be creating a student magazine. More on these projects later.
