Rough draft of bike technology poster is due on Wednesday.
We have started the bike build. Hopefully the weather will cooperate. We need to work outside. Although we have a number of guidelines and rules that will need to be followed throughout the build, the following rules are the most important.
A word about safety.
Safety Warning - Throughout the bike build project, students will be working with tools. Safety will be taken very seriously.
Students must wear goggles when working with any tools and or the bikes. The first time a student is not wearing goggles, they will receive a warning. The next time they are not wearing goggles, they will be taken off the build.
All tools will be used under the supervision of Mark and Raisa.
Students must use tools in a safe manner as instructed. The first time a student uses a tool in an inappropriate or unsafe way, they will receive a warning. The next time they misuse a tool, they will be taken off the build project.
Day three of Math PSSA testing will soon be upon us... As in tomorrow. Sleep well and, dagnabbit, eat a good breakfast.
Section 4 of the Build Binder is due Thursday by the end of the day.
Students continue to meet with Raisa in order to review and revise the work they are doing for their bike technology posters.
Tomorrow is day two of PSSA Math testing. Sleep well tonight and eat a good breakfast tomorrow. Go team.
Just a reminder that Section 3 of the build binder is due tomorrow, first thing.

The 8th grade presentations will take place on
Times will be 10:00 to 12:05 and 1:05 to 2:45 each day.
Although we do our best to schedule presentations so that they are convenient for families to attend, it is not always possible to meet the needs of everyone... but we will try.
If you would like to attend your child's presentation, but have a difficult schedule, let us know a few time that would be best for your child to present so as to make it possible for you to attend.
If you have an open schedule or don't plan on attending, no need to reply.
Our short week comes to an end tomorrow. Don't forget that Section 1 of the Recumbent Build Binder is due by the end of the day. Also, don't forget that Mark or Raisa must sign off on the sections before they are printed and the binder is created.
