ILP History Mini Posters
Each member of the Institute must submit a mini poster. Use the links at the bottom of this page to help you identify a topic for your poster.
You must have your topic selection approved by your team leader prior to beginning your research.

You must have your topic selection approved by your team leader prior to beginning your research.
Specific Mini Poster Requirements
- the year the event took place or the year of birth and death of the person (if your topic is a person, you need to also include the year or years that that person did the important thing that they did),
- a title,
- a visual representation of the event or person,
- a written explanation or description of the event or what the person did. This should be at least a paragraph in length,
- a "so what" -what is the significance or importance of the event or person,
- a reference to and summary of what else was going on at that time (this could be a historical event, an entertainment reference, sports reference, or any other notable event). Refer to class discussion for more information,
- resources used, and
- your name.
- Each final timeline entry will be presented on an 8 x 11 piece of paper, and each entry should be mounted on a colored piece of construction paper.
